Charles Edward Killgore b. 11 July 1880 d. 27 March 1963
Charlie Killgore was born somewhere in the west, probably Texas. Many genealogies have given Dew, Texas as his birthplace, but this is not certain.
He married Welva Dora Lange in 16 December 1908 in Fredricksburg, Texas. She died in childbirth nine and a half months later: 1 September 1909 in Valley Spring, Llano, Texas. Welva Lange Killgore was buried in the Lange family cemetery in Gillespie county, Texas. Their daughter, he named
- Welva Louise Killgore, b. 1 September 1909
Charlie took a second wife, Nancy (Annie) Emily Franklin, on 14 May 1912 in Junction, Kimble, Texas. He worked there in the Junction area as a railroad laborer. Charlie and Annie had three children together:
- Loma Dorothy Killgore, b. 5 May 1913, d. 29 October 1982
- Charles Lewis Killgore, b. 27 September 1920, d. 11 September 2001 and
- Victor Lee Killgore, b. 5 September 1925, d. 14 May 1972.
